Good equals evil and evil equals good? WHAT?

A word of warning to what is going on in our country.

Isaiah 5:20: Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

I have been hearing about a hate crimes legislation that protects sexual orientation. What? If any word is spoken that offends a so-called "same sex" oriented person (homosexual)then they can be arrested. That would include those who preach the gospel in the pulpit. Think about it for a minute. The gospel tells us our wrong doings and that we can't save ourselves...period! That is why Jesus came to save us according to

John 3:17: For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

But if we don't claim Him as Lord submit our life to Christ then OH-OH. God's justice and wrath will be satisfied on us in judgement instead! Getting back to the main thought. The gospel is offensive. It judges our evil deeds and thoughts. Two ways satan has introduced evil as good of course is homosexuality and the other is through abortion. God's Word speaks about these two issues in more ways than one. Guess what the Bible says about them? THEY ARE SIN! No if, ands, or buts. Now we all have sin somewhere in our lives as believers, not to be judgemental here. 1 Corinthians 13:6 tells us that love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in truth.
In conclusion we have to be ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20) and love them like Jesus by preaching the gospel no matter how offensive it is. Remember how life changing the gospel is in your own life! in the midst of the "good evil" keep this in mind.

Romans 1:16: For I am not shamed of the gospel, for t is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to he Greek.

It is what it is!

A quality representation

When you represent something, what does that mean? There are several definitions to the word represent but the main one would be "on behalf of." In other words an example of. You know like to represent our country to another country. Lets say your last name is Smith. Guess what? You represent the Smith family! One of the many definitions that caught my eye is "to impersonate, as in acting." I was reading in 2 Corinthians 5 and a verse jumped out at me. Verse 20 says "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." Now the word ambassador means an authorized messenger or representative. Do we not realize that we are a representative of Christ Himself?
